ORRIDO DI BELLANO This stunning natural gorge with roaring waterfalls, located directly on Stage 4 of the Sentiero del Viandante, can be found just a short walk from the Bellano train station. The easy and safe loop along suspended walkways takes about 20 to 30 minutes, but due to stairs and narrow passages, it is not accessible with strollers.

PIANI D'ERNA Built in 1965, the scenic cable car rises from the Versasio bottom station to the Piani d'Erna mountain plateau at an altitude of 1,375 meters. The short, quick five-minute ride climbs over 700 vertical meters, offering a spectacular panoramic view of the lake and the nearby Alps. At the summit, numerous hiking trails await.

BELVEDER PARCO VALENTINO The viewpoint above Lecco is accessible from the Piani Resinelli pass, which you can reach via the hairpin turns from Ballabio. A pleasant, 40-minute walk through the Valentino Park will lead you to a unique suspended balcony. Hanging directly over a deep precipice, it offers a breathtaking lakeview. 

CASCATE DELLA VAL MERIA The trail leads through the wild Val Meria valley along a mountain stream. Within an hour, you will climb to the iron bridge, Ponte di Ferro, where the water plunges into a deep gorge. Then the trail becomes more challenging, leading past a series of crystal-clear cascades thatculminate in a stunning waterfall.

PANCHINA GIGANTE Located at the foot of Monte Muggio, this Giant Bench is not only an original photo spot but also an invitation to see the world through a child's eyes. As part of the global Big Bench project, it offers breathtaking views where the tranquility of the mountains meets the elegance of Lake Como.

MONTE SAN DEFENDENTE Rising 1,323 meters above sea level, this panoramic peak is located right above the town of Esino Lario. It offers one of the most beautiful 360-degree views of Lake Como and the surrounding mountains. It can be reached on foot directly from our cozy apartment in just 3 hours.
