The ideal starting point for a cruise on the lake is the dock down in Varenna. The towns of Menaggio and Bellagio are the only ones accessible by regular boat and ferry. There are several daily train connections between Lecce and Colico. There is a direct train from Varenna - Esino station several times a day, which takes you to Milan Centrale station in 55 minutes. You can buy a ticket at the station or on the company's website Trenord.
